Using HTML5 Assets

You can create mini-apps and embed them into your experiences using HTML5 assets. In order to use a HTML5 asset with your experiences you must prepare the content using the HTML authoring tool you prefer, compress the mini-app into an archive (ZIP) and upload the archive into the Assets Manager using the HTML5 App option available by clicking the + button of the Assets Manager toolbar which will show the following popup:

Requirements

Beyond being compliant with the HTML5 standard, the archive you provide to create a HTML5 asset have the following additional requirements:

  • File types: ZIP
  • Content: index.html must be in the root (of archived content)

NOTE: The HTML5 scenes will always be played full screen on the user’s mobile device.
