I bought the ProLite version today and think I need the Pro so I can export. Is there a way to just pay the difference between the Lite version and Pro rather than buying a whole new license?

yes, it is perfectly possible to upgrade to the full version just by paying the difference. If you have already activated the Pro Lite license, all you have to do is release the license and find the upgrade option inside you user's area. You will go through a simple Paypal procedure and a Professional license will be added to your account.
